JAKARTA – The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia through the Directorate General of Defense Potential (Ditjen Pothan) in collaboration with Shyam VNL Private Limited (India) held a direct demonstration of Mobile RF -Cyber Intelligence Solutions and Secure Mobile Broadband Communication Systems products at Best Western Hotel, Mangga Dua, Mangga Dua, Mangga Dua, Monday (9/22/2025).
This activity is an important spotlight in the field of defense and security because it presents the latest technology innovation which has the potential to strengthen the national security system amid increasing cyber threats and communication.
The event began at 08.30 WIB until 13.00 WIB, with the main agenda to introduce a series of mobile intelligence solutions (mobile intelligence) and fieldband communication systems. The technology was developed to support military operations, civilian defense, and national security institutions.
The official invitation of this activity was issued by the Director General of Pothan Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia Brigadier General Heri Prihadi, with directions so that related officials present representatives at the echelon III or Colonel level to witness the product demonstration.
In terms of attendance, this event received great attention from high defense and security officials. A number of strategic figures from the Indonesian Ministry of Defense, TNI Headquarters, Polri, BIN, BSSN, to Academics and Directors of the National Strategic Defense Industry participated in this forum.
From the Ministry of Defense, present Director General of Strahan, Director General of Pothan, Karo Infostan Setjen Kemhan, Kapus Alpalankam Baloghan, to the Head of the Ministry of Defense. Their presence shows the high interest of the government towards this technology.
From the elements of state institutions, it appears that the Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), the Head of the Siber and State Sandi Agency (BSSN), as well as representatives of the Defense Industry Policy Committee (KKIP) participated in witnessing demonstrations. This confirms the relevance of RF- technologyCyber in supporting national security.
From the TNI, the Army Chief of Staff (Kasad), the Navy Chief of Staff (Kasal), the Air Force Chief of Staff (Kasau), as well as the Assistant for Operations and Logistics of the TNI Commander. Sahli officials in the field of technology, cyber, and polkamnas were also seen following the event.
From the police, the Commander of the National Police Mobile Brigade Corps, Head of the National Police Pusinfokom, the Head of the National Police Pussiber, as well as the Communication Division & IT Polri officials. The presence of the National Police element confirms the importance of this technology in supporting law enforcement and domestic security.
Not only from the government and officials, the Chancellor of the Defense University (Unhan) was also present along with the ranks of the National Strategic Defense Industry Directors, including PT Pindad, PT Dirgantara Indonesia, PT PAL, PT Len Industri, PT Dahana, and PT Inti.
Brig Ajoy Mukherjee (RETD), Senior Strategic Advisor Shyam VNL, in his remarks stated that this activity was a step of the Indian company to introduce the latest RF-Cyber Intelligence solution to the Indonesian government.
“We present movable intelligence technology that can increase cyber security, detect communication threats, and present an effective fieldband of fieldband systems that are used both by the military and other defense agencies,” Mukherjee said.
Some of the superior technologies introduced include EPMPDS (Entry Point Mobile Phone Detection System), which is able to detect SIM-based devices, E-SIM, to dual SIM when crossing the entrance point. The data obtained include IMSI, IMEI, device model, operator, to the origin of the country.
There is also a SMG (Secure Meeting Guard), a strategic meeting space security technology that guarantees full detection of hidden tapper devices and is able to block foreign drivers who try to infiltrate important meeting rooms.
For strategic installations, Shyam VNL introduces Trueidetect,Comprehensive protection systems that can carry out automatic identification, RF sanitation, and suspicious detection of activity from mobile devices. This technology can be integrated with a government database.
Another technology exhibited is PCG (Prison Communication Guard), which guarantees full rejection of cellular services in prison as well as being able to track the location of communication devices with accuracy of up to 1 meter.
No less important, Shyam VNL also introduced SIS (Soldier Information System) designed to support modern military operations with real time awareness, GIS map integration, soldier health monitoring, to live drone support for tactical planning.
Shyam VNL representatives emphasized that all solutions offered are the result of innovation based on Indian intellectual ownership. This technology is dedicated to supporting the government, military, police, and other strategic institutions in maintaining national security.
